Creating Tranquility and a View
Barbara and her husband found themselves spending more time at home in their charming Fairfax District apartment. Their windows look out onto a beautiful outside space, but their garden had become a bit wild and untended. With a desire to make the most of their view, they reached out for help.
This project was truly special to me, as it allowed me to work with their beautiful plants and artwork. I carefully cleared away the clutter, pruned and replanted, and redesigned the layout to create a more harmonious flow. I also rediscovered the patio space and created a cozy, welcoming area suitable for gardening chores and perfect for relaxing or entertaining. The result was a tranquil, low-maintenance garden that became their serene escape.

Transforming Spaces,
One Step at a Time
Downsizing to a new home can feel like a monumental task, filled with tough decisions about what to let go and how to make the most of a smaller space. More than just unpacking and organizing, this is about reimagining how each item can be integrated into a new, cohesive design.
Together, we’re carefully curating a space that feels fresh and inviting, creating a welcoming, functional beachside haven using Sarah’s existing pieces in a whole new way.
We’re also tackling the handyman tasks that come with moving: hanging pictures and mirrors, installing curtains, setting up electronics, and every step of the way, we’re focused on creating a home where Sarah’s family and pets can relax, recharge, and enjoy the next chapter of their lives.

Creative Solutions to Meet Your Unique Goals
Suzanne is a delightful client with a beautifully organized and thoughtfully designed home. Her space is immaculate and radiates warmth and style, but she occasionally needs help with small projects to ensure everything is both functional and visually appealing.
One such project involved her internet router and Wi-Fi setup, which, due to technical requirements, had to remain in her living room. This equipment didn’t visually align with the serene, uncluttered aesthetic of her home. Together, Suzanne and I found a stylish solution. We shopped online for the perfect decorative basket. I carefully cut a hole in the back of the basket (which would be concealing the large components), and ran the wires through it to another lidded basket tucked neatly behind the sofa. The tech was fully hidden from view, leaving Suzanne’s living space looking calm and inviting. I truly enjoyed our collaborative, creative problem solving and the unique results!
“Wonderful and completely professional–would welcome in my home any day. Has a great artistic eye, but is also a diligent and conscientious worker. Highly recommend!”
